Brown corundum sand blasting
Brown corundum, also known as diamond, is a brown-brown artificial corundum made from bauxite, carbon materials and iron scraps by melting and reducing in an electric arc furnace. The main chemical composition of brown corundum is AL2O3, its content is 95.00% - 97.00%, and contains a small amount of Fe, Si, Ti and so on. Brown corundum is the most basic abrasive, because of its good grinding performance, a wide range of applications, low price, is widely used.
Brown corundum is bauxite, coke (anthracite) as the main raw materials, smelted at high temperature in the arc furnace, made of abrasives, suitable for grinding high tensile metal, such as a variety of general steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze, etc., can also be made of high-grade refractories. Brown corundum has the characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion and corrosion resistance. The practice of dozens of refractory production enterprises has proved that the product has the characteristics of non-explosion, non-pulverization and non-cracking in the application process. Especially, it is much higher than the cost performance of traditional brown corundum, making it the best aggregate and filler for brown corundum refractories.
Sand is made from brown corundum F sand by further sieving and washing.
The brown corundum P sand is fumed at 1000-1300 C. It has sharp shape, high grinding force and good self-sharpening. It has excellent toughness after high temperature treatment and is suitable for making all kinds of high-grade coated abrasive tools. For example, abrasive paper, abrasive cloth, abrasive belt, P sand is mainly used for coating abrasive tools, the shape of the sand is more acute angle needle, the accumulation density is relatively low, its particle size distribution is more concentrated.
