Dump furnace Brown corundum
The commonly used brown corundum production methods in domestic enterprises are fixed furnace frying method and dumping furnace smelting method. But the fixed furnace block smelting time is long, power consumption is large, the cost is also relatively large, so the corresponding quality may have an impact. Because the temperature of the dumping furnace is higher, the smelting time is shorter and the cost is saved. In addition, the yield of primary brown corundum produced by dumping furnace is high, and the total consumption of smelting is higher than that of crystallization, and the compactness is excellent. It has high value in refractories and abrasive tools.
Brown corundum is bauxite, coke (anthracite) as the main raw materials, smelted at high temperature in the arc furnace, made of abrasives, suitable for grinding high tensile metal, such as a variety of general steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze, etc., can also be made of high-grade refractories. Brown corundum has the characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion and corrosion resistance. The practice of dozens of refractory production enterprises has proved that the product has the characteristics of non-explosion, non-pulverization and non-cracking in the application process. Especially, it is much higher than the cost performance of traditional brown corundum, making it the best aggregate and filler for brown corundum refractories.
